Rich Huggins II has been working with his father, a master sand sculptor for the
past 6 years. He has successfully competed at the Governors Bay Day events,
The AIA end of season sand sculpting contests with his father and as part of the
Sandtasia sand sculpting team.
Currently Rich is attending Rhode Island College as a communications major.
Like his father, Rich is fond of detailing his sand sculptures and castles. As part of
the Sandtasia team, Rich has been a participant at Cranes Beach Sandblast, the
AIA / Newport summers end sand festival, Governors Bay Day, and the New York
Democratic delegations Boston 2004 celebration at Carson's Beach in South
Boston.
